Another Card Challenge - Lawn Fawnatics- Outstanding Occasions

Tonight I worked on another Lawn Fawnatics Card Challenge  - this time the theme was Outstanding Occasions.   It took me a while to think of what I would do - I came up with a Wedding Card since we are now coming into wedding season.

For this card, I used two different sets of markers to colour my images.  I purchased a small set of the Zig Clean Colour markers and have been playing with them for a few weeks. I have also been buying Tombow Marker, a few at a time, as well.  Each of these sets of markers can be used to watercolour.  Little by little my water colour skills are getting better.  Still need to practice but hopefully my skills will improve.

So here is my card for this challenge...

When creating this card, I used the following supplies
- Cardstock - Random shimmer cardstock I found while going through my cardstock supplies
- Canson Watercolour Paper
- Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers
- Tombow Dual Brush Pens
- Stamps Sets
Lawn Fawn - Bicycle Built for you
Lawn Fawn - Happy Happy Happy
- Ink - Lawn Fawn - Black Licorice
- Ink - Stazon Black Ink
- Multicrafts Imports Cup Sequins
- Die - Lawn Fawn - Stitched Hillside borders
- Die - Lawn Fawn - Large Stitched 4-bar rectangles
- Die - Lawn Fawn - Bicycle Built for you
- Embossing Folder - Taylored Expressions - Ah-maze-ing
- 3M Foam Tape
- Ranger Multi Medium Matte Glue

This card so far is one that I am quite proud of it.  My others were okay, but I am most proud of this one so far.  I can tell that my card making skills are slowing coming back.

I have a few other new stamps that I have coming and one new one I just got this week that I cannot wait to use.  Hoping to find a card challenge that I can use for inspiration.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week !  Until next time...

Lawn Fawnatic Challenge #2

Good Evening,

I am again participating in another challenge with Lawn Fawn.  These challenges are so fun and they really do inspire you to create more.  When you are given a starting point for your card, the creativity does flow - or at least it does for me.

I had a really fun time time tonight putting this together, it let me use some of my new and old tools.  Not having been stamping for the better part of five years, I feel a little left behind.  But, thanks to youtube video's, I am quickly learning all the new tips and tricks.  I am also learning what tools, stamps and supplies I want.  Thanks to online shopping, new tools and supplies have been delivered on a weekly basis.

This evening, I created a shaker card for the first time -  it was fun.  I thought I would be okay with one layer of foam adhesive, but I did really need two to give the sequins space to shake.  Here is my finished product

For this card, I used the following supplies
Cardstock - Orange - Stampin Up
Cardstock - White - Neenah Classic Crest
Colouring Medium - Various Copic Colours
Patterned Paper - Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow
Stamp and Sentiment - Lawn Fawn Year Seven
Die - Lawn Fawn Year Seven

This week, I also received my order from Amazon for my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush markers and I am looking forward to doing some water colouring this week- wish me luck.

Till next time,

Jen
