Mojo Monday Challenge - My First

Hello Everyone

This morning at 7:00a.m, I decided I would make a card for the Mojo Monday Challenge. Did I mention that I leave for work at 8 am. Crazy I know - I still had to get ready but I wanted to get a start on the card. I was able to get the card done before I left for work, but I didn't have time to post the picture and write a post. So here I am tonight showing you my entry .

I am hoping to enter this challenge - every week. They provide such great sketches and its really fun to create something . For this card , I used some christmas patterned paper, ribbon, cardstock. The stamp used was "A Merry Season" from Stampin Up. I am pretty sure this one is retired. This was my first stamp set I purchased from Stampin Up over 7 years ago. Crazy to think I have been stamping for that long ( although I have been more serious about it over the last year).

My first blog post

This is the first , of hopefully many, posts that I will be posting on this blog. I decided I would start a blog to promote my Etsy Business, but then I thought later that it would just be fun to just blog about life and some of the interesting things that happen.

Right now I am up to my ears in card making, I am working on a custom project of hand made cards for the holiday season for a good friend of mine. Here are a couple of the cards that I have completed.

This card is completed using rubber stamps from Stampin Up!. I love the Dasher stamp.

The next card which I will post here is also made using stamps from Stampin Up! This card was created by using the Jolly Holiday set that I have had for a few years.

Well , I will leave here until later in the week when I will post more.. I need to fiqure out his blogging thing :)
